The understanding of the hand is great. Splendid :) I also like the shading you put into it. Only critique it there seems like there so be one more drawing to make the animation smoother.
I think that there's a bit of a jump at the end when the ring finger opens up, but besides that the animation flows pretty smoothly. The way the wrist bone sticks out and you can really tell where the bones would be in the fingers is a really good aspect. The paper could've been more smooth as far as the light goes, but otherwise I think it's really nicely done.
The way you used mark making gives the hand a really strong sense of movement. Also, the line weight used on the outside and the inside of the hand give a great visual understanding of the actual texture and shape. The Gesture the hand is making is very interesting,I think it makes for a great study!
