The link above is a demonstration of line in motion creating a drawing. Here I selected a curvilinear object because these shapes interest me most. I selected something so simple as a hand soap bottle, because even though it may be very simplistic in shape the detailing in the pump and the head of the bottle is beautiful. The spirals around the neck of the bottle make it visually interesting. The purpose of this was to show the viewer the process and timing a artist takes when crafting a piece. To really get inside of the artist and watch and they make decisions on what to draw next.

Reading Discussion
I selected this quote because its true. To me drawing is defined by line quality and the abstraction of lines put together to form imagery that's relatable and recognizable. Often people associate drawing with just being a drawing on paper when it represents more. This sort of reminds me of architecture and doing thumbnails, it all has to go through preliminary stages that are drawn out. Almost everything we see started out as a design that was drawn rather its traditionally drawn or digitally. I think that's what the quote is saying when it states "it is sewn into the warp and weft of our lives." It is also wefted into our lives by the idea that drawing and art in general is a form of communication that's understandable which makes it become a way a life. For example, simplistic drawings like instructions on the back of meals, medical illustrations, maps, etc. Drawing is everywhere it just goes unnoticed. I selected this image because I think it best represents the idea that drawing is everywhere and it's a basic fundamental element of design used for planning.
